Trainer (Security & Operations)

About the role

We are seeking a Trainer to deliver core and functional training to new and existing employees at designated Brink’s facilities. The role focuses on ensuring staff are certified, safe, and equipped to protect assets and perform cash handling operations.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct initial and refresher functional training for hourly positions.
• Manage the functional certification process, including training, measurement, and testing.
• Deliver safety training and monitor compliance with learning policies (LIFE).
• Perform CIT street inspections and observation rides as part of certification.
• Track and report city and state permits, licenses, and related training requirements.
• Ensure safety and security equipment (radios, firearms, vests, uniforms) are available and maintained.
• Cross‑train in additional duties and support guard liability and asset protection.

Required profile

• Experience conducting training or certification programs, preferably in a security or cash‑handling environment.
• Strong knowledge of safety and security procedures and relevant regulatory permits.
• Ability to monitor compliance and report training metrics.
• Willingness to work onsite at assigned facilities and perform occasional field inspections.
