Trailer Mechanic

About the role

R+L Carriers is seeking a Trailer Mechanic for its Sanger, TX Service Center. This full‑time position offers a regular Monday‑Friday schedule with various shift options and the opportunity to earn up to $35.07 per hour.

Key responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic procedures, repairs, and preventive maintenance on trailers.
• Conduct safety inspections in compliance with FMCSA, state and local regulations.
• Interpret technical manuals and produce required safety documentation.
• Test equipment to ensure performance meets manufacturer specifications.
• Maintain accurate work orders using the Cetaris Maintenance Work Order System (preferred).

Required profile

• Experience with safety inspections and trailer PMs/replacements.
• Ability to lift 50 lb and work in varying climate conditions.
• Own set of tools and a dependable work ethic.
• Willingness to work onsite at the Sanger service center.
