Trailer Editor for High‑Performance Video Content

About the role

FlightStory is looking for a Trailer Editor to craft high‑performance trailers that scale IP, deepen fandom, and attract global attention. You will blend storytelling, data‑driven insights, and AI‑powered tools to create edits that not only look great but also consistently deliver strong performance metrics.

Key responsibilities

• Watch full recorded episodes, identify standout moments, and develop a narrative script for the trailer.
• Assemble sequences, source music, design sound, and prepare b‑roll plates for animation.
• Collaborate with the trailer team on text overlays, aspect ratios, and experimental content testing.
• Own the end‑to‑end post‑production process, delivering trailers optimized for YouTube, Reels, and TikTok.
• Use performance data to refine pacing, structure, and creative emphasis.

Required profile

• Strong narrative engineering instincts; able to turn long footage into concise, emotionally resonant stories.
• Data‑driven mindset, comfortable interpreting YouTube Studio, TikTok Analytics, retention curves, CTR, and CVR.
• Proactive, autonomous, and able to thrive under pressure while communicating clearly.
• Collaborative spirit, eager to work with editors, strategists, social leads, producers, and commercial creatives.

Required skills

• Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Audition, and Photoshop.
• Experience with AI tools such as Runway, Descript, ElevenLabs, Firefly, or similar platforms.
• Familiarity with performance analytics tools (YouTube Studio, TikTok Analytics, third‑party retention analysis).
