Trader – Trading Origination

About the role

The Trading Origination team is responsible for pricing using in‑house models. As a Trader you will ensure accurate prices, maximise uptime and respond quickly to any issues that arise.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain day‑to‑day trading operations, keeping markets competitive and aligned with commercial goals.
• Monitor models and data feeds, coordinating with technical teams to restore service when needed.
• React to game‑state changes such as injury news.
• Collaborate to enhance pricing models and improve trading tools.
• Conduct data projects to gain insight into betting‑trend changes.
• Ensure regulatory and responsible‑gambling standards are met.
• Participate in in‑person sessions for collaboration, training and planning.
• Perform competitor analysis to continuously improve the product.

Required profile

• Strong passion for and knowledge of US team sports.
• Understanding of probability and betting odds, preferably with trading experience.
• Focus on accuracy, competitiveness and long‑term profitability.
• Analytical and data‑fluent, able to validate and explain model outputs.
• Highly motivated, dependable and excellent communicator.
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends according to the sporting calendar.
• Readiness to travel for in‑person team sessions.
