Trade IT Functional Support Analyst

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Trade IT Functional Support Analyst to join our front‑office trading team in Chicago. You will work directly on the trading floor, providing functional support for our brokerage and Order Management System (OMS) environment and ensuring smooth trade processing from execution to settlement.

Key responsibilities

• Provide functional expertise in brokerage and OMS‑based trading support.
• Monitor the full trade lifecycle, guaranteeing accurate processing from execution through settlement.
• Perform daily trade reconciliations across internal systems, clearing firms, and custodians, resolving breaks and settlement issues.
• Act as the primary point of contact for front‑office traders, clients, and internal partners to resolve production issues and inquiries.
• Identify operational risks, conduct root‑cause analysis, and implement process improvements.
• Produce and validate daily and weekly management reports and trading metrics.
• Participate in system testing and support the implementation of technology enhancements.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a front‑office or trading support role within a financial institution.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with confidence interacting with traders and clients.
• Ability to multitask effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
• Solid understanding of equities, fixed income and derivatives.
• High attention to detail when managing high‑volume transactions under tight deadlines.
