About the role

Husch Blackwell LLP is seeking a Toxic Tort Associate, Attorney, or Senior Counsel to join its Complex Torts team. The role involves handling all phases of civil litigation in toxic‑tort matters for California state and federal courts.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct factual investigations and manage discovery processes.
• Draft and file pleadings, motions, and other court documents.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Engage in substantive motion practice and trial preparation.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and support the Complex Torts business unit.

Required profile

• Active California bar license.
• Minimum three years of civil litigation experience, preferably in toxic‑tort practice.
• Strong academic credentials and a commitment to community involvement.
• Excellent judgment, ability to manage multiple projects, and capacity to work under pressure.
• Proactive, dynamic, and entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on diversity and inclusion.
