Title Examiner – Remote (Texas)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Title Examiner to join Independence Title, a Texas‑based subsidiary of Anywhere Integrated Services. This remote role supports residential and commercial real estate transactions by ensuring clear title and insurability.

Key responsibilities

• Examine and research Texas real‑estate documents, court proceedings, probate cases, and surveys.
• Communicate findings and decisions with escrow staff, underwriting attorneys, and title department members.
• Make insurability decisions and translate title‑insurance guidelines for clients.
• Maintain detailed, analytical records and resolve title issues promptly.

Required profile

• Direct experience with title examination in Texas.
• Minimum five years of title examination experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and solve problems analytically.

Required skills

• Research and interpretation of real‑estate documents, court records, probate cases, and surveys.
• Understanding of title‑insurance guidelines and insurability criteria.
• Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Suite.
