Tier II Technician – Cloud & Network Support

About the role

The Tier II Technician is the primary escalation point for technical issues beyond Tier I, delivering day‑to‑day cloud and network services for client environments. Working independently, the technician handles cloud platform administration, network troubleshooting, and hands‑on onboarding while escalating only high‑level architectural or security matters.

Key responsibilities

• Administer Microsoft 365 services including Exchange, SharePoint, Intune, and Entra ID.
• Support Google Workspace environments and manage related migrations.
• Troubleshoot and configure network infrastructure, including UniFi platforms.
• Utilize RMM tools such as DattoRMM for remote monitoring, ticketing, and automation.
• Execute technical onboarding tasks for new client environments.
• Document configurations, incidents, and solutions for client reference.
• Provide on‑site support when required, ensuring reliable transportation.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of MSP or IT support experience, with at least 2 years in a Tier 2 or system administrator role.
• Ability to work independently without step‑by‑step supervision.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for on‑site assignments.

Required skills

• Microsoft 365 administration (Exchange, SharePoint, Intune, Entra ID).
• CompTIA Network+ or equivalent networking knowledge.
• Experience with RMM platforms (e.g., DattoRMM).
• Google Workspace administration.
• UniFi networking platform experience.
