Ticket Sales Intern

About the role

The Boston Celtics are seeking a motivated Ticket Sales Intern to support the Group Sales and Sales departments during the September‑December season. This part‑time role offers hands‑on exposure to outbound sales, fan engagement, and event execution within a professional sports environment.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct outbound sales outreach via email and phone to past ticket buyers.
• Assist Group Sales in preparing game‑night giveaways, souvenir packaging, and client benefit programs.
• Answer fan inquiries by phone and email, and staff the front desk as needed.
• Organize and manage legal waivers, releases, and suite rental agreements.
• Research and prospect new business opportunities online.
• Operate the ticketing system and CRM database, ensuring accurate sales reporting.
• Monitor the Club Green email inbox and screen ticket‑sales voicemail.
• Support on‑court fan experiences, including participant check‑in and arena navigation.
• Set up, execute, and break down sales events and sales table activities.

Required profile

• Junior or senior undergraduate student, or graduate student, eligible for academic credit.
• Available to work scheduled home games and related events.
• Strong time‑management and ability to perform under pressure.

Required skills

• Experience with a ticketing system.
• Familiarity with CRM platforms.
