About the role
The Daily Grace Co. is looking for a senior theological voice to shape its publishing vision. The Theologian in Residence will author core resources, mentor the editorial team, and ensure every product reflects Scripture and the company’s mission to equip disciples.
Key responsibilities
- Author and co‑author Bible studies, books, and theological resources that define TDGC’s publishing direction.
- Develop original content ideas rooted in biblical, systematic, and covenant theology.
- Collaborate with the Editorial Director and Executive Vice President to set long‑term publishing strategy and maintain theological consistency.
- Provide theological framing and structure for flagship projects, multi‑author initiatives, and long‑term series.
- Partner with the Design Team to align visual expression with theological tone.
- Review and approve theological content across all major publications.
- Mentor writers and editors, ensuring doctrinal integrity and pastoral accessibility.
- Stay current with trends in Christian publishing and integrate AI ethically where appropriate.
Required profile
- Ph.D. in Theology, Biblical Studies, or a closely related field.
- 7+ years of experience in theological writing, teaching, or publishing with a proven record of published works.
- Deep expertise in biblical theology, systematic theology, hermeneutics, and covenant theology.
- Strong grasp of church history, contemporary theology, and cultural engagement from a biblical perspective.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to teach, mentor, and represent TDGC publicly.
- Alignment with The Daily Grace Co.’s mission, doctrinal statement, and Sage brand identity.
