Testing Specialist – Sandersville Campus

About the role

The Testing Specialist provides on‑site testing services for students and external customers at the Sandersville campus of Oconee Fall Line Technical College. This full‑time, non‑exempt position ensures exam security, manages assessment data, and supports test‑takers throughout the testing process.

Key responsibilities

• Proctor academic, distance‑learning, exemption, and nationally recognized college exams.
• Create and maintain assessment databases and enter student scores.
• Maintain test administrator certifications and oversee exam software installation, maintenance, and upgrades.
• Register students for exams, monitor daily exam schedules, and manage exam files.
• Prepare and send correspondence to colleges, instructors, and testing agents.
• Communicate exam scores to students and advise on next steps.
• Generate site, incident, and irregularity reports.
• Develop assessment training materials and perform other assigned duties.

Required profile

• Associate’s degree (or equivalent experience) with at least three years of related work experience.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational abilities and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to instruct others on equipment and processes.

Required skills

• Experience with Prometric Administrator workstations.
• Experience with Pearson Vue Administrator workstations.
• Experience with CLEP Server and related testing workstations.
• Proficiency in computer operation and relevant software applications.
