Testing Proctor (Temporary)

About the role

The Testing Proctor provides essential support for examinations at the University of Arkansas Community College at Batesville. Working on a flexible schedule that may include days, evenings, and Saturdays, the proctor ensures a secure and fair testing environment for students.

Key responsibilities

• Proctor exams for UACCB courses, monitoring student conduct during tests.
• Maintain FERPA compliance and protect the privacy of student and test information.
• Securely handle Blackboard data, including grades, exam content, passwords, and login details.
• Communicate clearly with supervisors and students regarding testing procedures.
• Address student concerns by contacting the appropriate instructor via phone or email.
• Assist with accommodations and special testing needs as directed.

Required profile

• Current University of Arkansas System employee (including student employees or graduate assistants).
• Availability for a mix of day, evening, and possible Saturday shifts.
• Strong attention to confidentiality and privacy regulations.
• Effective communication skills with faculty and students.
