Test Engineer IV – 2nd Shift

About the role

The Test Engineer IV provides test‑fixture support on the 2nd shift, ensuring minimal downtime for customers while driving new fixture designs and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Provide test fixture (TF) sustaining support for deployed fixtures to minimize downtime and customer impact.
• Coordinate and perform test fixture preventive maintenance and calibration activities, and follow up on out‑of‑tolerance issues.
• Lead the test fixture equipment maintenance program, track performance metrics, and initiate continuous‑improvement projects.
• Collaborate with other test engineers and business‑unit customers to deploy new test fixtures and drive new fixture designs.
• Manage multiple development projects, estimate manufacturing costs, schedule requirements, and ensure alignment with statements of work.
• Mentor and train lower‑level engineers, and lead cross‑functional teams applying DFx principles to reduce cost and improve quality.

Required profile

• Demonstrates depth of expertise in test engineering and related disciplines.
• Leads functional teams or projects with moderate resource requirements, risk, and complexity.
• Mentors and trains junior engineers, identifies training needs, and develops curricula.
• Communicates complex technical concepts and negotiates solutions with stakeholders.
