Test and Code Compliance Coordinator

About the role

The Test and Code Compliance Coordinator supports KONE’s Southeast District from the Miami branch, beginning with a full‑time on‑site training period before moving to a hybrid schedule. The role ensures testing and inspection activities are scheduled efficiently and complies with local regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Schedule and coordinate testing and inspections with Service/Repair Supervisors, 3rd‑party inspection companies, customers and regulatory bodies.
• Create billable tenders for testing, obtain approvals, generate service orders and requisition parts.
• Maintain the Automatic Test and Inspection (ATI) database and SAP contractual testing requirements, reporting weekly to management.
• Track permits, communicate completed inspections to government agencies and customers, and manage invoice disputes.
• Adapt processes to changes in local code compliance directives and Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) requirements.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of progressive customer service experience.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Well‑organized with a strong customer‑service mindset.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word.
• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Experience with SAP.
