Territory Manager – GYN/L&D (Bakersfield, CA)

About the role

CooperSurgical is seeking a Territory Manager to promote its GYN/L&D medical devices in the Bakersfield, CA region. You will act as the primary point of contact for surgeons, operating‑room staff, and administrators, driving product adoption and sales growth.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct sales calls and product demonstrations for surgeons, OR managers, nurses, and administrators.
• Communicate the clinical and economic benefits of CooperSurgical products.
• Prepare and submit weekly and monthly sales and activity reports to the Regional Manager.
• Develop and execute a territory sales plan to meet or exceed targets.
• Complete product and surgical‑application training, pass examinations, and maintain certification.
• Train physicians, nursing, and sterilization personnel on proper product use and maintenance.
• Maintain up‑to‑date certifications in Operating Room Protocol, Bloodborne Pathogen safety, and HIPAA compliance.
• Travel independently, including overnight trips, as required.
• Perform additional duties assigned by management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• 1–3 years of verifiable sales experience, preferably in a hospital or operating‑room environment.
• Proven ability to grow sales in prior roles.
• Positive references from business and personal contacts.

Required skills

• Operating Room Protocol for Health Care Representatives.
• Exposure to Bloodborne Pathogens certification.
• HIPAA regulations knowledge.
