Territory Field Sales Merchandising Representative – East Bay, CA

About the role

Basemakers is looking for a full‑time, outside field sales and merchandising representative to cover the Oakland‑Tri‑Valley (East Bay) territory. You will be the primary point of contact for multiple CPG brands in grocery stores, driving in‑store presence and sales velocity.

Key responsibilities

• Visit 6‑8 grocery stores per day (e.g., Whole Foods, Sprouts, Safeway, Lucky, Nob Hill Foods) and execute merchandising plans.
• Work 100% of the time in the field from your vehicle, covering routes across Oakland, Alameda, Castro Valley, Dublin, Livermore, San Ramon, and Danville.
• Maintain a visit frequency of 2‑3 times per month per store, adjusting hours as needed.
• Collaborate with store managers, brand representatives, and internal Basemakers partners (Brand Partner Managers, District Managers, Sales Directors).
• Capture brand data such as photos and inventory information for reporting.
• Provide problem‑solving support to increase brand sales velocity and become a trusted advisor.
