Terminal Operator I

About the role

The Terminal Operator I is responsible for operating and maintaining pipeline facilities, terminals, tanks, pumping stations, LACTs, and gathering systems to ensure safe and accurate transportation and storage of petroleum products. This field‑based position works in open environments and supports both routine operations and emergency response activities.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, painting, weed control, and general housekeeping of stations, pipelines, and terminal equipment.
• Monitor and record station activity, including readings, over/short documentation, and oil movement orders.
• Conduct facility checks, report abnormal conditions, and troubleshoot rotating equipment, valves, LACT and metering systems, and hydrocarbon drain systems.
• Operate electrical heart‑tracking, flare, instrument‑air, and truck loading/unloading systems safely.
• Inspect and maintain pipeline security, monitor Rights‑of‑Way activity, and perform damage‑prevention reporting.

Required profile

• Self‑starter who thrives in fast‑moving, collaborative environments.
• Willingness to work outdoors in extreme heat or cold and wear required safety gear.
• Ability to respond to call‑outs and participate in emergency response operations.
