Terminal Operations Manager

About the role

Transport One, Inc. is launching a new intermodal terminal in the Dallas/Fort Worth market and seeks a seasoned professional to lead operations from the ground up. This full‑time, on‑site position offers a unique chance to shape a terminal’s launch and drive its early success.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and manage day‑to‑day terminal operations for intermodal container, dry‑van, and reefer freight.
• Recruit, attract, and retain independent contractor drivers and owner‑operators.
• Oversee driver onboarding, order entry, and customer service support.
• Coordinate dispatch of intermodal shipments to ensure safe, timely, and efficient transport.
• Collaborate with senior management to meet launch milestones and go‑live target of August 1.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an intermodal dispatcher or in terminal management for container freight.
• Demonstrated ability to work with and retain independent contractor drivers.
• Strong understanding of trucking, intermodal logistics, and container handling.
• Commitment to treating drivers with respect and optimizing their workflow.
