Terminal Manager – Service Center Operations

About the role

The Terminal Manager will lead all service‑center activities at our Muskogee, OK location. This full‑time role oversees financial performance, safety, and employee development to ensure efficient and profitable operations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage revenue, cost control, and yield improvement to meet profitability targets.
• Direct hiring, promotions, transfers, and disciplinary actions.
• Develop and educate staff, fostering a high‑performance culture.
• Support account managers in acquiring and retaining customers.
• Create and execute action plans to achieve productivity and service goals.
• Maintain safety, security, and loss‑prevention procedures in line with OSHA, DOT, and company policies.
• Ensure the facility and equipment remain clean and safe.
• Prepare and submit financial, operational, and safety reports as required.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Thorough knowledge of LTL industry practices, DOT regulations, OSHA standards, hazardous‑materials handling, NMFC, and tariff rules (preferred).
• Strong organizational, logistical, and problem‑solving skills.
• Familiarity with the Muskogee area and surrounding communities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
