Temporary Service Supervisor

About the role

The Service Supervisor (Temp) is responsible for ensuring that the interior and exterior of the community, including grounds, amenities, and common areas, meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality. This onsite role supports resident satisfaction by handling service requests and preparing vacant units for new move‑ins.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve maintenance issues from resident service requests, following company policies, safety standards, and code requirements.
• Manage the “make‑ready” process: conduct pre‑move‑out inspections, create punch lists, schedule vendors, procure supplies, complete repairs, and inspect finished work.
• Develop and uphold standards for the appearance and cleanliness of grounds, building exteriors, breezeways, signage, leasing office, garbage areas, parking lots, and other common spaces.
• Inspect work performed by service team members, contractors, and vendors to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and maintenance materials; coordinate with the Community Manager to order supplies within budget.
• Execute monthly preventative maintenance procedures as outlined in the policy manual.

Required profile

• Ability to diagnose mechanical and technical defects and perform repairs safely.
• Experience overseeing make‑ready processes and coordinating with vendors.
• Strong attention to detail when inspecting work of staff and contractors.
• Capability to manage inventory and adhere to budgetary guidelines.
