About the role
The Economic Dignity Lab at Georgetown University's McCourt School of Public Policy is seeking a temporary part‑time Research Assistant. You will support evidence‑based policy work focused on economic dignity, AI’s impact on workers, and workforce policy.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct literature reviews and policy research on topics such as AI and labor markets, care work, workforce transitions, and tax policy.
- Gather and synthesize data from government sources, academic publications, and policy organizations.
- Assist in preparing policy papers, briefs, and presentation materials.
- Support development of the Economic Dignity curriculum for the McCourt School.
- Coordinate logistics for public forums and events featuring diverse commentators.
- Fact‑check and cite‑check draft publications.
- Track relevant legislation and policy developments at federal and state levels.
- Support external communications for the Lab.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- Strong research and analytical abilities with experience in policy analysis.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
