Temporary Leasing Professional

About the role

The Temporary Leasing Professional supports the community’s marketing, leasing, and renewal strategies to achieve occupancy and revenue goals. You will guide prospects through the leasing process, ensure smooth move‑ins, and help retain residents throughout their lease term.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospects, conduct tours, and show apartments to drive leasing activity.
• Process applications, perform credit and background checks, and prepare lease and move‑in packages.
• Inspect units before move‑in, coordinate with maintenance to resolve any issues, and ensure apartments are ready for new residents.
• Monitor local market conditions, develop short‑ and long‑term marketing plans, and apply community concessions and specials to boost occupancy.
• Design and execute marketing initiatives, including resident referral programs, employer outreach, and online advertising on platforms such as Craigslist and Facebook.
• Utilize property management software (OneSite, Yardi, etc.) to track availability, record leasing activity, and manage prospect and resident data.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service orientation with the ability to engage and qualify prospective residents.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for conducting tours and handling lease negotiations.
• Detail‑oriented mindset to ensure units are move‑in ready and documentation is accurate.
• Proactive approach to market research and implementation of effective marketing strategies.
