Temporary Community Manager

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Temporary Community Manager to oversee day‑to‑day operations of a lease‑up property. You will lead the on‑site team, manage financial performance, and ensure compliance with all housing regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily property operations, including team supervision and resource allocation.
• Develop and monitor budgets, analyze financial statements, and set rent rates to meet revenue targets.
• Collect rent and fees, process bank deposits, and prepare monthly financial reports.
• Approve vendor invoices, verify insurance certificates, and coordinate with accounting.
• Maintain petty cash and control expenditures within approved budgets.
• Oversee lease enforcement: approve applications, discounts, renewals, conduct inspections, handle evictions, and collect late fees.
• Analyze market and economic trends to inform leasing strategies.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of community manager experience.
• At least 1 year of lease‑up community manager experience.
• Strong ability to analyze financial data and manage budgets.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing, ADA, Fair Credit Reporting Act, and related regulations.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
