Telemarketer

About the role

Richelieu, a North American distributor, importer and manufacturer of specialty hardware, is hiring a Telemarketer for a Monday to Friday, day-shift position. The role covers inside sales development for part of the local sales region.

Key responsibilities

• Find new business opportunities with customers by phone, place orders and provide sales quotes
• Work closely with outside sales representatives on customer orders and quotes
• Research product solutions for customers to solve field-project issues

Required profile

• Past telemarketing, inside sales or customer service experience
• Experience with wood, woodworking, panels and/or boards is a strong plus
• Architectural or interior hardware experience is helpful but not required
• Customer service, problem-solving and project management skills
• Team player who shows initiative, with a strong sense of drive and creativity
• The position may involve lifting, pushing or carrying items up to 50 pounds

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, Word and Outlook
• AS400 experience is helpful but not required
