Technical Trainer II – West Region

About the role

The Technical Trainer II supports Sub‑Zero, Wolf, and Cove by delivering high‑quality service, installation, and application training to internal teams, installers, and service partners across the West Coast and occasional locations nationwide.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate instructor‑led training (ILT) in the lab and virtual instructor‑led training (VILT) via MS Teams, using engagement best practices.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive course materials, including guides, presentations, videos, and job aids.
• Teach effective use of core tools to reinforce installation and service best practices.
• Prepare training facilities and equipment for each session.
• Measure learning outcomes, report metrics, and continuously improve content.
• Partner with cross‑functional teams to align training with new product development milestones and secure lab units for launch‑ready content.

Required profile

• Associate degree or higher in Education, Instructional Design, Communication, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in learning development, instructional design, or equivalent roles within the appliance or similar industry.
• Proven presentation and learning facilitation experience.
• Technical aptitude for mechanical, electrical, and appliance installation concepts.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and project‑management abilities.
• Willingness to travel domestically up to one week per month and to Canada once per year.
