Technical SEO Specialist

About the role

The Technical SEO Specialist will strengthen the technical foundation of our digital properties, ensuring sites are fast, crawlable, indexable, and accurately measured. This role blends SEO engineering with analytics and CMS expertise while collaborating with developers, product managers, paid media teams, vendors, and content creators. The position is fully remote for candidates in any U.S. state, with occasional travel (10‑20%).

Key responsibilities

• Conduct technical SEO audits to diagnose crawl, indexation, rendering, and site architecture issues.
• Manage Google Search Console, monitor coverage, indexing, enhancements, and resolve reported issues.
• Configure and QA Google Tag Manager tags, triggers, variables, and data‑layer integrations.
• Set up GA4 properties, create custom events, conversions, and parameters.
• Optimize HubSpot CMS settings, templates, redirects, and structured content.
• Improve site speed and Core Web Vitals.
• Deploy, test, and validate structured‑data/schema markup.
• Analyze server log files to monitor crawl behavior and identify inefficiencies.
• Perform technical QA during releases, migrations, and redesigns.
• Monitor data accuracy after code or CMS changes.
• Build reporting dashboards using GA4, GSC, Looker Studio, and HubSpot analytics.

Required profile

• Minimum 3+ years of experience in technical SEO or SEO engineering.
• Strong knowledge of Google Tag Manager and GA4 event implementation.
• Proficiency with Google Search Console.
• Experience with HubSpot CMS.
• Familiarity with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Ability to work with developers on React/Next.js or similar JavaScript frameworks.
• Comfortable analyzing server logs, crawl reports, and performance metrics.
• Excellent attention to detail, critical thinking, and problem‑solving skills.
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively in high‑pressure environments.
