Technical Sales Engineer – Cutting Tools (Dallas/Ft. Worth)

About the role

Seco Tools is looking for a Technical Sales Engineer to promote its cutting‑tool portfolio across the Dallas/Ft. Worth region. You will act as the technical bridge between customers and our product line, delivering tailored metal‑cutting solutions that improve manufacturing performance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and grow business with end‑users and distributor partners across industries such as automotive, power generation, oil & gas, mold & die, construction and agriculture.
• Provide consultative technical advice, recommend metal‑cutting solutions, and conduct product demonstrations.
• Identify new opportunities, manage existing accounts, and achieve sales targets.
• Travel 50‑60 % of the time to visit customers, distributors and trade events.
• Maintain accurate sales administration, territory planning and reporting.

Required profile

• 5‑7 years of successful technical, consultative sales experience in manufacturing or distribution environments.
• Strong technical aptitude for metal‑cutting and manufacturing solutions.
• Self‑motivated, able to work independently from a home/virtual office.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills.
• Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory and reside inside the region.
