Technical Project/Program Manager

About the role

Applied Materials is seeking a Technical Project/Program Manager to lead complex projects that advance semiconductor and advanced‑display technologies. The role will guide initiatives from concept through deployment, working with cross‑functional teams and global suppliers.

Key responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive project plans and lead projects through all phases.
• Contribute to project strategies, processes and resource planning.
• Manage schedules, task execution and reporting using project‑management tools.
• Drive cost, schedule and performance objectives for equipment and deliverables.
• Support cross‑functional design teams and provide technical guidance.
• Interface with engineering, operations, supply chain and business stakeholders.
• Identify risks and develop mitigation and resolution plans.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in program or project management, engineering or supply‑chain management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Supply‑Chain Management or related field.
• Strong program‑management experience leading cross‑functional initiatives in a technical or manufacturing environment.
• Experience with semiconductor components, global suppliers and matrixed organizations.
• Excellent communication, influence and negotiation skills.
• Ability to analyze large data sets and present insights to senior leadership.

Required skills

• Knowledge of semiconductor components and assemblies.
