Technical Project/Program Manager

About the role

Applied Materials is a global leader in materials science and engineering solutions for semiconductor and advanced display manufacturing. The Technical Project/Program Manager will lead projects from conception through implementation, ensuring on‑time and on‑budget delivery for internal and external customers.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and drive project plans, schedules, and task details using project management tools and software.
• Coordinate allocated resources across the division to meet performance objectives and manage purchase requisitions and orders.
• Lead multifunctional design teams, providing technical input and resolving project complications.
• Monitor cost‑schedule performance of equipment for worldwide customers and vendors.
• Interface with division stakeholders to define objectives, provide status updates, and prepare releases.

Required profile

• Demonstrated depth of expertise in a specialized discipline and ability to interpret business challenges.
• Proven leadership of functional teams or projects with moderate complexity.
• Strong problem‑solving skills, using analytical judgment to devise innovative solutions.
• Ability to communicate complex concepts and negotiate differing points of view.

• Salary range $116,000 – $159,500 per year.
