Technical Project/Program Manager IV

About the role

Applied Materials, a global leader in materials engineering for semiconductor and display manufacturing, is seeking a Technical Project/Program Manager IV. The role will drive complex parts‑transition projects, collaborate with global planning and engineering teams, and automate processes to improve efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Utilize the Global Parts and Supplier Technology (GPS&T) portal, customer qualification tracker, and transition dashboard to manage multiple complex projects.
• Collaborate with global and regional planning teams to align parts supply with customer qualification timelines.
• Coordinate with engineering, purchasing, RVC, SMOD, and SAM to ensure seamless part transitions.
• Lead automation initiatives to increase project execution efficiency.
• Develop requirements and work with business intelligence to create reports and dashboards, analyzing large data sets for insights.

Required profile

• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• 7+ years of experience in project or program management, preferably in the semiconductor industry.
• Proven ability to manage multiple cross‑functional projects with aggressive schedules.
• Experience with risk management, task tracking, and stakeholder communication.
