Technical Project/Program Manager IV

About the role

Applied Materials is seeking a senior Technical Project/Program Manager to lead the Special Substrate Handling (SSH) product line. You will own the product vision, roadmap, and business case while coordinating cross‑functional teams across hardware, software, robotics, and metrology.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and drive project plans from conception through implementation, using project scheduling software and tracking tools.
• Coordinate resources across divisions to meet on‑time, on‑budget objectives and manage purchase requisitions and orders.
• Lead cross‑functional roadmap planning, aligning system‑level requirements with platform COE, BU, customers, and engineering teams.
• Act as system integration leader for SSH capabilities across multiple product platforms.
• Develop business growth strategies, market assessments, and value propositions for advanced packaging and AI‑driven manufacturing.

Required profile

• 10+ years in semiconductor equipment, automation, robotics, substrate handling, or system integration.
• Proven ability to operate as a Product Manager, Systems Architect, and Program Manager simultaneously.
• Strong technical credibility with engineering teams and the ability to influence senior business leaders and customers.
• Experience translating advanced packaging and AI/HPC trends into product requirements.
• Excellent strategic thinking, business acumen, and execution discipline in ambiguous environments.
