About the role
Applied Materials is seeking a Technical Project/Program Manager IV to lead complex projects from conception through implementation, supporting the development of semiconductor equipment that powers AI and next‑generation chips.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and tracking tools to ensure on‑time, on‑budget delivery.
- Coordinate cross‑functional resources, including internal teams and external vendors, to meet performance objectives.
- Manage purchase requisitions and orders, and drive cost‑schedule performance for equipment worldwide.
- Participate in multifunctional design teams, providing technical input and resolving project complications.
- Communicate project status, objectives, and release plans across the division.
Required profile
- Demonstrated depth of expertise in a specialized technical discipline.
- Ability to interpret business challenges and recommend best practices.
- Leadership experience managing functional teams or moderately complex projects.
- Strong analytical problem‑solving skills to devise innovative solutions.
- Effective interpersonal skills for communicating complex concepts and influencing stakeholders.
