About the role
Applied Materials, a global leader in materials engineering for semiconductor and display manufacturing, is seeking a Technical Project/Program Management III professional. The role will lead cross‑functional initiatives to improve quality performance across the company’s global supply chain.
Key responsibilities
- Manage multiple programs/projects that support cross‑functional teams improving supply‑chain quality.
- Develop and oversee project plans from conception through implementation, ensuring clear objectives across teams.
- Support teams to achieve performance goals, coordinate with internal customers, and provide status reports to management.
- Maintain schedules and task details using project‑management tools such as Jira, SmartSheet, and Microsoft Project.
- Identify and resolve program complications, creating effective solutions.
- Develop and enhance business processes, dashboards, metrics, and applications for supply‑chain quality management.
- Contribute to organizational strategy and Annual Operating Plans.
- Provide program‑management and process expertise to team members.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- 4‑7 years of experience in high‑tech or industrial sectors, with at least 3 years in program/project management.
- Prior experience in Quality Management Systems or Quality Audits is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex, high‑risk projects and solve innovative problems.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with experience presenting in diverse business environments.
Required skills
- Project‑management software: Jira, SmartSheet, Microsoft Project.
- Quality tools: 8D, FMEA, SIPOC, Poka‑Yoke, DMAIC.
- Knowledge of program/project management best practices.
- AI/ML experience (preferred).
- Project Management certification (preferred or willingness to obtain).
