About the role

Applied Materials, a global leader in materials engineering solutions, is seeking a Technical Project/Program Manager (E4) to prepare project plans and drive projects from conception through implementation. The role coordinates resources, manages schedules, and ensures on‑time, on‑budget delivery for semiconductor and display equipment projects.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare project plans and drive projects from conception to implementation.
• Manage project schedule and task details using project management tools and reporting charts.
• Coordinate allocated resources within the division to meet performance objectives.
• Initiate and manage purchase requisitions and purchase orders.
• Drive cost‑schedule performance for equipment for internal and external customers worldwide.
• Participate in multifunctional design teams and provide technical input.
• Identify and resolve potential project complications and develop solutions.

Required profile

• Demonstrates depth or breadth of expertise in a specialized technical discipline.
• Interprets business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products or processes.
• Leads functional teams or projects with moderate resource requirements, risk, or complexity.
• Communicates difficult concepts and negotiates to gain stakeholder alignment.
