About the role

Applied Materials is seeking a Technical Project/Program Manager to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of critical projects that support semiconductor and advanced display manufacturing. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare detailed project plans and coordinate the attainment of deliverables from planning through implementation.
• Maintain matrices for process improvements and drive project tracking using reports, charts, and checklists.
• Align internal resources to achieve on‑time, on‑budget performance objectives.
• Monitor and report cost performance to the business unit.
• Participate in intra‑business‑unit design teams to complete project milestones.
• Contribute to the team’s technical development and pursue project goals.
• Research causes of project obstacles and assist in implementing effective solutions.

Required profile

• Demonstrates conceptual and practical expertise in your discipline with basic knowledge of related areas.
• Understands best practices, integration points across functions, and competitive market factors.
• Acts as a resource for less‑experienced colleagues and may lead small, low‑risk projects.
• Solves complex problems, takes new perspectives, and builds consensus on difficult issues.
