Technical Project Manager – Value Engineering

About the role

The Technical Project Manager will lead high‑velocity execution of cost‑reduction, resiliency and value‑engineering initiatives for the Varian division. You will own a portfolio of projects from concept through qualification and production enablement, ensuring measurable business impact.

Key responsibilities

• Define and drive product‑level cost‑reduction and value‑engineering strategy, building a multi‑year roadmap aligned to division objectives.
• Lead end‑to‑end program execution, delivering on cost, schedule and performance targets while managing risks and dependencies.
• Develop and maintain robust cost models, track realized savings and report performance to leadership.
• Partner with engineering, operations, quality and supply‑chain teams to identify design and sourcing opportunities that improve cost and manufacturability.

Required profile

• 5–10 years of experience leading complex cross‑functional programs in semiconductor equipment or similarly complex manufacturing environments.
• Proven track record delivering multi‑million‑dollar cost‑reduction and value‑engineering programs.
• Strong business acumen with ability to influence stakeholders without direct authority.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations or a related field.
