Technical Project Manager – Missile Systems

About the role

Moog is seeking a Technical Project Manager to join its Transformation & Readiness team in Salt Lake City, UT. You will lead and coordinate multiple engineering projects that support missile control actuation systems, ranging from non‑recurring engineering contracts to continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate project activities, ensuring scope, schedule, quality, and budget are met.
• Own and manage project budgets and timelines.
• Apply engineering knowledge to advise on scope changes and support technical decisions.
• Facilitate transitions of new programs from design to production at the Salt Lake City center.
• Manage internal and external stakeholder relationships.
• Drive emerging growth projects and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate across departments to resolve roadblocks and maintain project momentum.
• Prepare status reports, communicate progress, and propose solutions for complex issues.
• Act as team lead, delegating tasks and reviewing work products.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
• Proven experience managing multiple technical projects simultaneously.
• Strong ability to work with program managers, product engineers, quality engineers, and customers.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
