Technical Program Manager, Hardware Systems

About the role

Anthropic is building custom hardware systems to run its frontier AI models, from board design through datacenter integration. As a Technical Program Manager you will own the end‑to‑end execution of these systems, turning architecture specifications into production‑ready boards, racks, and interconnects.

Key responsibilities

• Define and maintain the integrated hardware program plan across boards, chassis, racks, and interconnects, covering requirements, EVT/DVT/PVT, qualification, and production ramp‑up.
• Manage relationships with ODMs, contract manufacturers, and component vendors, overseeing SOWs, schedules, deliverables, factory readiness, and escalation.
• Establish and run a lightweight NPI cadence, including engineering reviews, DFx, issue triage, and exit criteria.
• Lead bring‑up and validation activities: lab logistics, firmware/BMC coordination, test coverage, and reliability/telemetry targets.
• Coordinate critical interfaces with silicon teams, datacenter power‑cooling, infrastructure software, and supply‑chain management.
• Conduct partner and technology evaluations and deliver build/buy/co‑design recommendations.
• Communicate program status and risks to architects, senior leadership, and external partners.

Required profile

• Proven experience shipping complex hardware at scale, with a realistic understanding of ODM/CM schedules and constraints.
• Ability to make decisive program calls independently, without a large supporting organization.
• Strong track record of driving cross‑functional teams (silicon, firmware, software, supply chain, datacenter) to successful production launches.
