Technical Program Coordinator

About the role

TAE Technologies is advancing commercial fusion energy with its proprietary Field Reversed Configuration (FRC) technology. The Technical Program Coordinator will support daily and long‑term operations of the Norm (C‑2W) experimental platform, acting as the communication hub between scientists, technicians, and engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain weekly operations schedules and plan experimental campaigns by grouping compatible experiments.
• Serve as the primary communication link for machine operations across multiple teams, monitoring control‑room activities and helping resolve issues quickly.
• Manage the experimental proposal workflow, assisting authors and technicians with change requests and coordinating subsystem modifications.
• Familiarize with C‑2W subsystems, complete required training, and perform duties as a C‑2W machine operator or session support.
• Occasionally assist in maintaining C‑2W subsystems and support engineering days and machine vents.

Required profile

• Experience coordinating technical or scientific programs in a laboratory or engineering environment.
• Strong ability to communicate across multidisciplinary teams and manage complex schedules.
• Willingness to undergo training and operate high‑energy experimental equipment.
• Detail‑oriented mindset with a focus on safety and operational readiness.
