Technical Instructor – Nursing

About the role

The Georgia Northwestern Technical College seeks a full‑time Technical Instructor for its Associate Degree Nursing program at the Walker County Campus. The instructor will deliver classroom and clinical instruction, develop curriculum, and support student success across multiple campuses.

Key responsibilities

• Develop instructional materials and syllabi aligned with course objectives.
• Collaborate with faculty to implement department policies and curriculum improvements.
• Provide diverse learning experiences, including clinical and laboratory sessions.
• Participate in departmental committees and retention initiatives.
• Maintain accurate educational records and evaluate student performance.
• Travel to other campuses as needed to meet operational requirements.

Required profile

• Knowledge of the Georgia Board of Nursing Nurse Practice Act.
• Understanding of the technical college system and vocational education mission.
• Commitment to continuous professional development and diversity, equity, and inclusion.
• Familiarity with pedagogical practices, academic standards, and college programs.
• Ability to work cooperatively with faculty, staff, and students.
