Technical Business Development – Japan Market

About the role

You will act as the technical anchor linking Applied Intuition’s Silicon Valley headquarters with Japan’s advanced industrial ecosystem. This high‑visibility position is designed for an engineer‑by‑training who wants to combine deep technical expertise with the business impact of large, strategic deals.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with potential Japanese customers identified by Account Managers or through personal ecosystem knowledge.
• Conduct discovery sessions to capture customer requirements and map them to Applied Intuition solutions.
• Host workshops and deliver tailored demonstrations of autonomy technologies.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to finalize solutions for existing products or help create new offerings for emerging concepts.
• Iterate on technical scope and business models, guiding proposals through customer approval processes.
• Plan revenue strategy and forecast outlook for automotive, trucking, and adjacent domains.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience in automotive or trucking domains.
• Technical background with the ability to translate engineering concepts into business value.
• Strong customer‑facing skills and comfort leading workshops and discovery sessions.
