Technical Analyst Lead (Intelligence)

About the role

CACI is seeking a Technical Analyst Lead to support the C5ISR Center at Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland. The role performs technical analysis and helps collect and share information on target device tactics, techniques and procedures (TTPs), technology and safe handling procedures, on a need-to-know basis, for U.S. and coalition forces. It is a regular rotational traveler position with up to 50% local travel, requiring a minimum TS/SCI clearance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of technical analysts.
• Conduct all-source analysis and produce finished exploitation reports combining multiple forensics disciplines to support DOD exploitation efforts.
• Exploit intelligence disciplines such as TECHSIGINT, SIGINT/CYBER and MASINT across classification levels to enable threat network targeting.
• Analyze and exploit unmanned systems, IEDs and other improvised weapon systems to determine technical profiles.
• Perform Weapons Technical Intelligence (WTI) assessments on battlefield recoveries and commercial off-the-shelf items, including functional analysis of RCIED and UAS devices.
• Provide indications, warning and trend analysis on target devices and TTPs, and author and coordinate threat assessments for combatant commanders and intelligence community leaders.
• Research databases, monitor strategic and operational intelligence, and present and defend assessments to the intelligence and technical communities.
• Help develop and maintain analytical policies and procedures, and work remotely as part of an analytical team.

Required profile

• Active TS/SCI clearance.
• Military Intelligence (MI) or Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) MOS background with formal military training (e.g., 35F, 89D).
• Bachelor's or associate's degree plus 7 years of experience, or 9 years of experience.
• Experience with all-source intelligence analytical production and reporting, and with C-UAS and C-IED analysis.
• Ability to travel CONUS and OCONUS, including possible conflict areas, on short notice and to work independently in austere environments.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office and intelligence-related automation and specialized intelligence tools.
• Strong research, analytical, writing and briefing skills.
• Desired: familiarity with ICD 203 IC standards, basic electronics knowledge, and experience with SOFEX, WEAT, WTI IED Lexicon and device profile guides.
