Team Lead – Gym Operations

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Team Lead to support the Club Manager in overseeing daily gym operations and delivering an exceptional member experience. This full‑time, non‑exempt position combines hands‑on front‑desk duties with staff development and facility management.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in training, coaching and developing front‑desk and fitness staff.
• Provide direct member service support: answer phones, handle check‑ins, sign‑ups, cancellations and update member accounts.
• Conduct gym tours for prospective members and address service inquiries.
• Back‑up the Club Manager in team management, policy enforcement and operational decision‑making.
• Maintain cleanliness, appearance and safety standards throughout the facility.
• Support marketing initiatives by informing staff of current promotions.
• Order supplies, manage inventory and generate related reports.

Required profile

• Honesty, strong work ethic and reliable attendance.
• Excellent customer‑service orientation and communication skills.
• Organizational and leadership abilities.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Physical ability to stand, walk and lift up to 50 lb as needed.
