Team CDL A Truck Driver – $140k‑$160k Salary

About the role

R+L Carriers is seeking experienced Class A Team Drivers to join its Norwalk, OH service center. Drivers operate 53‑foot van or double trailers, delivering freight between service centers and turn‑point locations while enjoying a 5‑day on‑road, 2‑day home schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Pull and deliver loads using 53‑foot van trailers or double trailers.
• Maintain a 5‑days‑on/2‑days‑off home‑weekly schedule.
• Comply with all DOT regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
• Complete pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections and documentation.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers.

Required profile

• Valid CDL Class A license with at least 1 year of verifiable Class A experience within the past 3 years.
• Clean driving record (no serious violations, ≤3 moving violations in 3 years).
• Age 23 (or 21 with FMCSA military transition qualification).
• Ability to pass DOT physical, drug screen, and road test.
• Physical ability to bend, lift and stoop without difficulty.

Required skills

• CDL Class A operation.
• Experience with doubles/triples, tanker, or haz‑mat endorsements (preferred).
• Knowledge of LTL freight handling (preferred).
