Team CDL A Truck Driver – $140k‑$160k Salary

About the role

R+L Carriers is seeking experienced Class A Team Drivers to join our Janesville, WI service center. Drivers work in pairs, covering routes between service centers and turn‑point locations while enjoying a predictable 5‑day on‑road, 2‑day home schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Operate 53‑foot van trailers or double trailers on assigned routes.
• Maintain on‑time deliveries while adhering to safety and compliance standards.
• Complete weekly inspections and paperwork for each trip.
• Collaborate with your driving partner to ensure efficient load handling.

Required profile

• Valid CDL Class A license with at least 1 year of combined verifiable Class A experience within the past 3 years.
• Clean driving record (no serious violations, ≤3 moving violations in 3 years).
• Age 23 (or 21 if meeting FMCSA military‑to‑civilian transition criteria).
• Ability to pass DOT physical, drug screen, and road test.
• Dependable, physically able to bend, lift, and stoop safely.

Required skills

• CDL Class A operation
• Hazmat endorsement (preferred)
• Experience with double‑trailer handling
• LTL freight handling knowledge
