Team CDL A Truck Driver – $140k‑$160k Salary

About the role

R+L Carriers is seeking experienced Class A Team Drivers to join its Alexandria, IN service center. Drivers will operate 53‑foot van trailers or double trailers, transporting freight between service centers and turn‑point locations. The schedule follows a 5‑day on‑road, 2‑day home pattern, allowing drivers to be home every week.

Key responsibilities

• Pull van trailers up to 53 feet or double trailers on assigned routes.
• Maintain safe operation of equipment at all times.
• Comply with all DOT regulations, including pre‑employment physicals and drug screens.
• Complete road tests and ensure proper documentation for each haul.
• Coordinate with dispatch to meet delivery schedules and customer expectations.

Required profile

• Valid CDL Class A with at least 1 year of combined verifiable Class A driving experience within the past 3 years.
• Clean driving record (no serious violations, no more than three moving violations in the past 3 years).
• Age 23 (or 21 with FMCSA‑approved military transition).
• Ability to pass DOT physical, drug screen, and road test.
• Dependable, able to lift, bend, and stoop without difficulty.
