Tax Senior – Public Accounting

About the role

Our client, a well‑established public accounting firm in New York City, is looking for a Tax Senior to join their team. You will work with a diverse portfolio of corporate, partnership, and individual clients, delivering high‑quality tax services in a collaborative, learning‑focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review corporate, partnership, and individual tax returns.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
• Identify tax planning opportunities and provide strategic advice to clients.
• Assist junior staff with complex tax issues and mentor them on best practices.
• Maintain accurate documentation and support audit inquiries as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• CPA designation or in progress.
• Minimum 3 years of diversified public accounting tax experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong desire for professional growth and continuous learning.
