About the role

PWC is seeking a Tax Manager to lead its Private Companies tax compliance practice. You will guide clients through complex tax regulations, ensure accurate filing, and help optimise their tax positions while mitigating compliance risks.

Key responsibilities

Supervise, develop and coach a team of tax professionals.
Manage client service accounts and oversee engagement workstreams.
Review and analyse financial data, prepare and file tax returns.
Identify tax planning opportunities and provide strategic advice to private‑company owners.
Ensure quality, timelines and deliverables meet firm standards.
Address conflicts, conduct difficult conversations and escalate issues when necessary.

Required profile

Demonstrated leadership with the ability to motivate and develop team members.
Strong project ownership, from planning and budgeting to execution and completion.
Excellent communication skills for client interaction and stakeholder management.
Commitment to professional and technical standards, firm code of conduct and independence requirements.
