Tax M&A Partnership Tax Manager

About the role

PwC is seeking a Tax Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) Partnership Tax Manager to join its Tax Services team in San Francisco. You will provide tax advice and guidance on complex M&A transactions, helping clients optimise tax outcomes while navigating regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Manage client service accounts and lead engagement workstreams for M&A tax projects.
• Analyse tax implications of mergers, acquisitions, and related business transactions.
• Develop and implement tax structures and strategies to optimise client tax positions.
• Supervise, mentor and coach junior team members to deliver high‑quality deliverables.
• Drive digitisation, automation and technology‑enabled efficiencies within the practice.
• Ensure project planning, budgeting, execution and timely completion.
• Uphold PwC’s professional standards, code of conduct and independence requirements.
