About the role

Join PwC's Tax practice in St. Louis as a Winter 2028 Tax Intern. You will gain hands‑on experience in tax consulting, supporting teams that deliver tailored tax strategies, compliance, and risk‑management solutions for a variety of clients.

Key responsibilities

• Support tax teams in delivering comprehensive tax advice and planning strategies.
• Assist in preparing and reviewing corporate tax returns and compliance documents.
• Analyze complex tax regulations to optimize tax positions and minimize risks.
• Participate in international tax planning and multistate compliance activities.
• Conduct tax research to support consulting projects and propose innovative solutions.
• Help develop tax models and structures for client engagements.
• Contribute to tax provision preparation and audit validation.
• Apply data analytics to identify opportunities for tax optimization.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing or completed a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Minimum overall GPA of 3.0 (preference for 3.5).
• Eligibility to sit for the CPA exam in the intended state of employment before starting full‑time.
• Typically in the third year of a four‑year program or fourth year of a five‑year program.
